Fine and Kdwards' in* £ 4 to 1 vote over his Republican op- ponent Maynard Miller, Town of Clifton Supervisor. Replacing Miller as Clifton Supervisor is winner John MacAleese iR» over In- dependent Edward Pomerville and Democrat Gary Woods Town of Clifton Coun- cilman Paul Given, loser in the Republican primary and running Independent on election day, was the winner over Robert Murphy i R) and Edward Hodge i D). Clifton Town Clerk Helene Jams and Clifton Justice Robert Hayes were unop- posed. The present Town of Fine Highway Superintendent Morgan VanHouse i.R) will continue his duties with a 451 vote over Homer Thivierge, Sr. »D) 324 carried 452 votes over Donald Wright i R) 283. Royal Burgess and Franklin Finch, both Republicans, lost the Town of Fine councilmen seats in a 336 and 291 vote to Fraser 427 and Hoover 350 respectively. The Clifton Town Board met on Thursday following election day for regular session and adoption of the budget for 1974. Information of this meeting, together with vote count of election day in Town of Clifton, was unavailable, though sought. The Fine Town Board adopted the 1974 budget at a special meeting on Thur- sday, Nov. 8. The regular meeting of the Fine Town Board was held / the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 13.
