Earning the merit badge calls for qualified counselors to work with Scout candidates. Members of the trucking industry will supply coun- selors and work with local BSA councils to stimulate Scout interest. Since the BSA was founded in 1910, over 50 million merit badges have been earned by Scouts Badge subjects available to today's Scouts include Computers, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Science, Fish and Wildlife Management, and Textiles. Doris Todd spent Thursday with her husband Edward Todd who is spending the week hunting at their camp at Colton. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Madlin of Waddington were Sunday guests of her brother and family Mr and Mrs. Norman Bice. Mr and Mrs. Harlow Jackson attended a grange meeting for Lecturers and Service and Hspitality officers Wednesday at Silas Wright grange at Canton Thirty-one officers were present. Mrs. Charles Price, mother of Sam Price returned with them for a visit.
