Signs of the season- Junior Varsity out for practice Potsdam Firemen plan Field Day Plans are nearing completion for the •first annual field day program of the Potsdam Fire Department on Saturday. Sept. 16. it is announced by Chief James Prosper. Highlighting the event will be a .parade at 10 a.m.. followed by a New York State Sanctioned Firematic drill at 12 noon. 4 A number of county depart- ments, bands, volunteer rescue squads, antique cars and other units will participate in the parade. There will be cash awards for the best appearing department with music, best appearing without music, best appearing auxiliary and the best appearing band.
