The Brogis spent from Aug. 19 to 26 at a camp on Plea- sant Lake. Mrs. Charlotte Crawford and her son spent the Aug. 19 week- end at Cold Creek in their camper. On Aug. 19, they returned by way of Hamilton, Onu, where they visited the bo- tanical gardens. They stopped at Niagara Falls, Onu, and returned home through New York State. They also called on friends in and around the Newport, Ky area. On the way home they called on friends in Corning and Elmura They were taken on a tour of the flood area Aug. 20. Mr. Moore reports that it is Just un- believeable. Guests of Mrs Vera Conklin the weekend of Aug. 19 were Francis Conklin and Duane Conklin, Charleston, S C Duane, grandson of Mrs. Conklin, was discharged from the army, Aug. 18 after having served for three years, one of which was spent in Germany. Mrs. Conklin was guest at a cook-out at the home of her son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wells, Hermon on Aug 20.
