WILLIAMS Installation of officers at Ma- sonic Lodge 226, F & AM, was held Jan. 10. The volunteer fire department auxiliary met at the Fire hall Jan. 11 with Mrs. Ann West, chief, presiding. Plans were made for die Em- pire Studio to be at the fire hall from 12 to 9 p.m. Jan. 28. Appointments should be made -with Mrs. Ann West and Mrs. Helen Robbins for adults, and children of all ages. Meetings are held the second Wednesday evening of each month. . Mrs. Thelma Spadaccini was a patient in the Mercy hospital, Watertown, for x-rays and ob- servation from Jan. 3 to Jan. 8. She will return Jan. 21 to under- go surgery. The American Legion auxil- iary held the regular business and report night Jan. 10. Mrs. Helen Pitts presided. Plans were . made for the regular monthly Legion and auxiliary covered dish supper to be held Jan. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Members please bring table service and covered dish. Airman First class Gary and Mrs. Over acker are spending a leave with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Over acker. He is stationed at Perrin AFB, Texas. He enlisted in 1960. Pamela Sampson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Samp- son was admitted last Thurs- day to the Carthage hospital for surgery. .Mrs. Jack Sprague and daugh- ter, Gladys, Gouverneur, spent last week with her, sister Mrs. Dora Dashnaw, Eddie Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Brown, was fl ad- mitted Jan. 5 to the Mercy hos- pital Watertown, with compli- cations from the mumps. Jrwin Brown attended the fun- eral of his uncle, Bert Hirsch, 68, at Stanford, Conn., Jan. KX District Superintendent Rev. The next meeting is Feb, 9 at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Ralph Demel. The annual meeting of the Con- gregational Church was held Jan. 12 at the session rooms. Rev. Edgar O.
