Brady and son \Paul of Johnstown, spent the week-end in Brushton. He was called* home Monday morning by a telephone message saying that his father-in- law, jfulius, Gale, was\ very ill* , A message Tuesday morning ann- ounced Mr, Gale's death at 1^ O' clock Monjjay evening. Saunders had his law office and living apartments as well as the Post Office in the building. It also housed \the Frank yohng general store and the office of the Verm- ont Evaporator Company. The fire originated in Mr.< Saunders law office. The loss is estimated as high as $20,000 and is only partially coveted by insurance.'
