Joseph Pot- ter, not being present Monday the Court was opened by the Sheriff, and adjourned *o June 3d. Tuesday morning^the court was opened. The Grand Jury was called and twenty- three answered. J. W. Steele, Esq., was (worn as Foreman. The Judge charged the jurors and they proceeded to their room. They expect to complete their la- bors thi9 morning. The list of Trial Jurors was called and thirty-three answered. There are forty-four cases on the civil calendar. The case of William Ober ag'st the Town of Crown Point, a negligence case, occupied the court Tuesday., The jury rendered their verdict \No cause of action.\ The case being triedat this writ- ing is Mary Finnessey, as adni'x, against the Port Henry Iron Ore Co. The indications are the Court will be in session all the week, as there are tan oth- er causes marked for trial. When the Oyer & Terminer adjourns it will be to Monday afternoon next at which time the trial of McCouley, indicted for murder, will commence.
