As nightfall ooroes on tbe pleasure seekers drive home to dinner and the oartmen go home in long prooession. Soon thero are few vehicles to the streets but the oars, stages, and oarriages. Gradually tbe public conveyances decrease in o umber until the oarriages, about midnight are almost the only vehicles.
