Y., December 18, 1958 Chappaqua National Promotes 3 CLIFFORD V. FISHER Three staff promotions in the Chappaqua National Bank were an nounced today by Franklin Mon- tross Jr., president. Clifford V. Fisher has been ad vanced to senior vice president and lean officer, Frederick G. Ray to vice president and cashier in charge of operations, and George Morozuk to vice president in charge of new business and branch operations. Mr. Fisher, a graduate of Hamil ton College and the American In stitute of Banking, began his bank ing career with the Tarrytown National Bank and Trust Co. He came to Chappaqua National in 1947 and has served as cashier, vice president, and since 1949 as a director and secretary to the board of directors. He is director of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Tar- rytown, treasurer of the First Con gregational Church and member of the Town Club. Mr. Ray is a graduate of Ka- tonah High School and Wharton School of Finance & Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania in 1947. He served in the Navy Supply Corps as an ensign. Fiorillo handed down a \decision finding Ivey innocent of & chaTgft of public intoxication, ns$e,|py' Yonkers police Dec. 30, last City Judge John E. Tobin found Ivey guilty of the charge on Feb. 1, 1958. Counsel for Ivey, Gordon W. Burrows, appealed the decision, and County Judge James Hop kins in September reversed To bin's ruling, and ordered a new trial. It was held recently before Fiorillo, who had reserved de cision. Church Guild Offers $200 Scholarship The business and professional Women of the Scarsdale Congre gational Church Guild are offer ing a $200. scholarship to a boy or girl graduating from a West chester high school in 1959. Basis for the award includes fin ancial need, good academic stand ing or qualification for the field chosen. Any county student may apply who needs help to attend college, business technical or nursing school, or any other in stitution of higher learning. Kis ROP 4 Power Squadron adl2 The annual Christmas party of the Westchester Power Squadron Auxiliary was given Friday, Dec. 12, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Spangler, of 211 Highland Ave., Scarsdale. Members were es corted by husband or beau, most of them members of the West chester Power Squadron. Books were collected, to be sent to the Seaman's Institute, and members brought gifts for a grab- bag, enjoyed by all. The WPSA has announced that the Seamanship course, to be given to youngsters at the Girl Scout Cabin in Scarsdale starting in Jan uary, is full, with 120 girls reg- istereoV. Virgmia-vAllens , , mariner scout troop, of Scarsdale, will as sist during the course, which is taught by auxiliary members. Mr. Morozuk was graduated from Armonk School, Pleasantville High School, and in 1951 from New York University. He served in the Air Force from June 1951 to April 1953, when he joined the pension division of The Bankers Trust Co., New York City. He joined Chappaqua National in June 1954 as manager of the North Castle office. He was promoted to assis tant cashier in 1956 and to assis tant vice president in July 1957. He is a member of the North Castle Lions Club and has served as treasurer of the Armonk Little Leagub and the North Castle Chamber of Commerce. TEMPLE CORNERSTONE LAID MOUNT VERNON—Snai Temple laid the cornerstone of its new $250,000 congregational building on Crary Ave. yesterday morning. A service which preceded the sealing of the cornerstone was held in the main auditorium of the tem ple. Rabbi Ely E. Kanaga Photograph Shoivn at Museum YORKTOWN HEIGHTS — Consuelo Kanaga of Yorktown Heigh'ts is among the photograph ers whose works have been select ed for an exhibition at the Mu seum of Modern Art in New York City through Jan. 18.
