Y., December II, 1958 Trust ends end 11111 The distribution of a five per cent stock dividend to stockhold ers of The County Trust Company has been recommended by the bank's board of directors, Dr. Jo seph E. Hughes, chairman, an nounced today. Recommendations for similar stock dividends have been approved by stockholders and the Superintendent of Banks each year since 1952. If approved at the annual stock holders' meeting on Jan. 21, 1959, the dividend will be on the basis of one new share for every twen ty shares of County Trust stock outstanding. Dr. Hughes further stated that it is planned to trans fer sufficient funds from reserves and undivided profits to increase stated capital funds to more than $30 million. Dr. Hughes pointed out that a stock dividend will be in addition to the usual cash dividends which have been paid every year since 1904. North Westchester Trmes, Mt. Kfeeo, N, Y„ Dec. Kizer, director of the workshop, operated by the County Recreation Commission, in vites art students, homemakers, teachers and all interested resi dents to browse among the 20 var ied \needle and yarn\ paintings in exciting color, texture and de sign. Among the titles of Mariska Karasz' creations are \Haitian Waters\ \Kaleidoscope\. \Cave Paintings\ \Flying Saucers',' \Echo\ and \Strata with \Peb bles\. The \Stitchery\ will be on dis play until Dec. 20. Miss Karasz, who has over 60 one-man shows of her work, is credited w.ith creating new hori zons, using a few basic stitches and a variety of yarn and threads, making \simple embroidery\ into a recognized \fine art\ Iran's Shah Pays Honor To Kisco Man A Westchester resident has been made commander of the Order of the Crown by the Shah of Iran. It is the highest honor the Shah can bestow. The yellow ribbon and glittering cross of the order were awarded Dr. Frank N. D.
