Members were present from Andover Grange, Yoiks Giange, Slallsport Grange, Genesee Grange W e s t Union Grange, Petrolia; Grange^ besides the big turn out from the local grange.. A fter the routine of business ^'Saster A. C. W hite turned the meet-, ing over to M aster Mingus of the Ajadover Grange who closed ,in the fourth degree and opened in the tliir siegree, when the third degree was Gooferred upon three candidates by U*e Andover degree team. The con ferring the fourth degree by the s'am e .’team followed. During ,Uie Lecturer's hour th people of the Andover degree team put on a very pretty drill AH th e work cf the Andover brothers eind .sisters was cf the highest order aad Ihey were roundly applauded for th e ir efforts. Frother Robinson Pom o n a Overseer, of Andover was pyes'Hnt, and kept tli ■ Grangers good natiired with his reniarbs. He kind ly responded to an invitrtion to sing s. - solo, as well as make a few re- tnai-ks. M aster W. A. Bacon of Oenesee Grange made rem a rls and recited a piece which brought forth round® of applause. Sister Poster of tile local Grange also gave a reading which was highly enjoyed. Hauber Dead NORTH BINOHAM, June 29.— It was with sadness it -^vas/ learned that David T, Hauber had passed aw ay a t Ms home a t this place Satur day afternoon, June26. His: funeral was held a t the church of which he was a member, Monday, at 2:30 p.m. The large crowd th a t attended, showed partly the high es teem in - w hich he w a s held. Mem ber®- of the G. A, R. a t WhitesviHe, and Relief Corps, attended in a body. Among those who attended from other places were; F. W. Clark of Oarbondale, Pa., Mr, and Mrs. w . G. Ell.'is died at K-alama- zoo, Mich, June 10. Mr. Ellis was raised at Woodvilie, Allegany town ship, P o tter County, and wa® well known in th a t section. He was a charter member of Gen esee ledge 1063, I. O. O. H e r g’irlhood home w a s in Genesee, [but most of her m arried life was sppent in Corry. She has often visited here and ispent a month last summer and a ^ e e k in January here, where she has many relatives and acquadntances, Besideis her hus- hand she leaves: six children, Mr®. A. W. McQueen of Sedan, Kan., H. B. Rohertsi of New Castle, Pa., Mrs. Jam e s Smith of Jamesitown, N. Y., L. R. Bassett rendered a most appropriate selec tion. Tile Memorial sermon wa® deliver ed by Rev. W. H. Randall, pastor of the Andover Baptist church, and chaplain of Andover lodge of Odd Fe lows.
