Some of our sons and daughters are actively serving, sorne are deployed and others are in the reserve units or veterans. We are here to offer support to area families. The Seaway Valley Blue Star Mothers will be meeting Wednesday, December 10, at 6 p.m., at Claxton-Hepbtirn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. The meeting will both inspect the building and make proposals. The idea certainly was met with some resistance from Gouverneur Police Department Sgt. Mark Ashley, and Trustee Jeff Spellicy, who both questioned the board's logic in securing a police station. Mayor Vorce said that there were issues with other parts of the building that needed to be addressed. \We're looking at security for the entire building. Someone could walk in, go upstairs, and even the dispatchers wouldn't know they were in there. We heed to look into that issue. It's a priority.\ It was announced that effective November 15, to April 15, there will be no parking on village streets between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. to allow village DPW workers to clear snow and ice from the streets. He was so excited when so many of us came to see him, his only complaint was that he didn't have much time to spend with us because of a sound check before the concert, and bus call for Nashville after the show, but it was sure great just be there'!\ \They have already started filling the tour schedule for next year, you can keep track on Austin's myspaee page or at Bo Bice.com \ \ It sure, was pretty cool meeting Bo after watching him on TV...
