There is no admission charge and all are welcome to attend. The annual Mother's Day Luncheon will beheld at United Church at noon on May 3\'. A special program will be presented. Tia Brown of Rochester called on her grandparents Bob and Linda Brown on Sunday, April 13. On Sunday evening Linda E. Brown attended the Sunday co-ed bowling banquet held at Mullins Restaurant. Linda received two awards and her grandson Dustin Campbell who bowls with her received three awards. On Monday, Linda attended the Monday morning bowling banquet held at the WW where her team won first place. Linda also received three money awards, a 200 patch and several other gag gifts. Linda E. Brown called on Beatrice Dusharm in Fowler on April 15. Bob and Linda Brown, Edith Norman and Howard Kelly of the Skirts and Flirts Sqxiare Dance Club attended the Harbor Lights Modern Square Dance Club graduation in Prescott Canada on Wednesday evening April 16. While there Bob called a couple dances for the club, During Spring Break, Heather, Timmy and Tyler Bowman met the Ashmead family, Sheri, Tori, Hillary, Morgan and Paige for a trip to Niagara Falls, The falls were absolutely beautiful and still had frozen icebergs at the bottom. The two families stayed at the Falls View Water Park and enjoyed two full days at the world's largest indoor water park. There were 16 huge water slides,.rnany water play areas and a wave pool. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool also, but only stayed outside in the pool for a short period since the temperature outside were only South Edwards By Linda Perry Earth Day was observed Tuesday with people enjoying the sunny warm temperatures. The greenery of the landscape is beginning to flourish. The residents of theEdwards Senior Court express their appreciation to Bob Millet who is donating an American flag to the housing complex. Ann McColluni has been on the medical list lately. Best wishes for a quick recovery. Irene Reed was also not well earlier this spring but is doing better. The original Passover led to the Hebrew people being freed from slavery, however they spent the next 40 years wandering in the desert. in the mid 60's. A visit was made to the build a bear store where new bears were made and dressed. Tyler and Heather went to Brick City where everything is made of Legos, including a miniature version of Niagara Falls. There was a 10-foot Statue of Liberty, as well as a 12-foot Golden Gate Bridge also made from Legos, The rest of the vacationers went to the movie wax museum. There were many look a like figures including. Jack Sparrow. On Friday Heather, Timmy and Tyler along with Doris Cota traveled to Waterloo outlets for a day of shopping with Heather's sister Amy and children, Matthew and Sara Olsen. At the end of the week the Bowman's came home to guests, Shirley Thomson and Rick Panton, who came from Ava, New York to visit for the weekend. They had not been able to travel all winter, as Shirley has been ill. Rick, Charlie, and Tyler went fishing on Saturday. Hermon News By Bernice Aldrich On Wednesday, April 23 at 6pm the Hermon-DeKalb Cub Scouts will participate in their \Rain Gutter Regatta.\ They have made boats with sails to race in rain gutters. They blow on the sails to move the boats. New siding has been replaced for a couple of areas where some siding was damaged and blown off during a hard wind storm at the Hermon United Methodist Church. Toni Lewis and Bernie Aldrich attended the St. Lawrence AARP Chapter #2831 meeting Tuesday, April 15 at the Gran- View Restaurant, Ogdensburg. Under Sheriff Scott Bonno gave an interesting talk. The DeKalb-Hermon Senior Citizens Club has made plans to attend Mayfest on Saturday, May 3. There will be a bus to transport them from the Sunrise Senior Citizen Complex to Massena. Tyler had two soccer games on Saturday for indoor soccer and his team won both games. They had a great visit. They enjoyed being outside in the beautiful weather and a barbeque feast. Bob and Lucille Pratt, Dave and Marlene Hart and Lizabeth and Ida Langtry attended a surprise birthday party for Harold Lowery at Doug's Tavern in Heuvelton on April 13. A large crowd of friends and relatives attended. Bud and Lila Youngs, Mark and Jen Shippee, Jake, Mitchell and Lillianna were guests of Julie and Rick Harra in Watertown on Saturday. They visited with the Harra family including Malt Harra who had been on vacation in Cancun and celebrated the birthday of Mitchell Shippee a few days early, Before returning home, Bud and Lila stopped by the Oxbow Store to visit Bud's sister, Lona Rastley. They were also lucky to see Lona's daughters, Carmel Rastley who was visiting from the Madrid area and Rosanna Trombley, her son Jarred and daughter Rachel who were visiting from the Albany area.
