Page 12 Gouvemeur Tribune Press, Thursday March 20,2008 Do not feed wild animals, message from West Side 2 nd graders Twenty second grade students from West Side School have been learning about nature and winter in the North Country. Under the auspices of student teacher Kerry LaDue, these youngsters have sent the Tribune Press letters in an effort to educate all in the danger of feeding wildlife. The following texts shows their endeavor in letting nature be nature. Dear Tribune Press: Do not feed wild animals in the winter. If you feed a deer at night, you can't feed it another night. If you keep on feeding the animal, it will forget how to feed itself. So don't feed animals! Sincerely, Clayton Feeding an animal is bad because if you give them the wrong food they will die. Sincerely, Matthew Don't feed animals in winter because they will come back. If you go to the movies or something like that, they will die. Sincerely, Jillian Dear Tribune Press, Don't feed animals because you don't know what food it likes and if you feed them they will come back for more. Sincerely, Paige Don't feed wild animals or they might die. They will come back. If you feed them, they won't remember how to get food. Then they would die. That's why you don't feed wild animals. Sincerely, Joshua Feeding animals is bad because if you are feeding them they will come back and back. Maybe one night you are out and they will come and no food will be out for them. Sincerely, Aleesha Don't feed animals because it could be poison. If you feed an animal one night, feed it the next night too or else it could die. Sincerely, Kaylee Feeding an animal is very hurtful for them because they can die when you feed them. So please do not feed animals. We need them for food and water. Sincerely, Bailey Don't feed the animals because they will come back because you are feeding them. They will depend on you to feed them every day. Sincerely, Katrina Don't feed animals, They will come back and sometimes you forget to feed them. Sincerely, Isabelle Don't . feed animals because it might be poison. That could be bad for them. Sincerely, Gabrielle Don't feed animals because it could be poison. That's bad. Sincerely, Daija Don't feed animals, they will come after you because they want some food. Every night they will come to the house. Sincerely, Bridget Don't feed animals because they will forget how they got food. They will become dependent. It is okay to feed those animals. Sincerely, Conagher You should not feed animals because you might forget to leave food for it and it will die and it forgets how to find their own food. Animals are going to get their own food on their own and how to get their own food. Animals can't find their own food in the winter. They can find their food in the summer. Sincerely, Michelle Don't feed animals because you could give them food that is bad for them and poison them. Sincerely, Patrick Don't feed animals because they will come back. Then they will die. They will forget to eat their own food. Sincerely, Morgan D&M Auto & Sound Match or Beat AFiY Authorized Price Pioneer JVC Panasonic...
