All of First St. Lawrence District is asked to be at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Ogdensburg at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 9 for Christmas caroling. They are planning on going to three nursing homes that day. Our next meeting will be Dec. 12 with a covered dish dinner preceding the meeting at 7 p.m. Please bring a cov- ered dish to pass. Table service will be furnished as well as coffee, tea etc. A Christmas party will be held after the meeting with a S3 gift ex- change. Avis Todd and family received word Wednesday that her son, Larry, was awarded his new rank as colonel, in the US Army Reserves. Larry took on a new position in August, as head of all US Army Reserve hospital units north of New York City, which is quite a job and honor. Kim Richards, Justin and Kristin, Lisbon and Shirley Todd attended a program on Sunday, Dec.. 20 for all the workers and their children to be entertained by Santa and his helpers.
