For Comptroller—Thomas P. Edwards of Chemung. For Treasurer—William Doyle of Albany. For Attorney General—Warren T. Worden of Cayuga. State Engineer—To be nominated by State Committee. Every section of the State was represented. Mr. Wiley of Auburn presided. I'he old State Committee were re-elected. A conference of five was appointed to confer with the Troy Con- vention. Just as we are going to press a telegram from the Buffalo Convention gives us satisfactory in- teligence of the Convention- The Southern Tier is not forgotten, Chemung county is honored and Elmira is to be envied. MR. THOMAS P. EDWARDS received the nomination for Comptroller. Mr. Edwards is a well known Greenback worker and resides in the sixth ward. He was among the lir#t in Elmira to enter this \new movement.\ He is a mechanic. We will have more to say of him hereafter. NOW BOYS GO TO WORK. The State Board of Equalization met at Albany yesterday. George H. Andrews urged a decrease of the assessment on the city and county of New York, by the State Assessors.
