(ITI)— Hundreds of workers from other unions refused to cross picket lines of the striking International Association of Machinists at the missile test center here todav. Leaders of the striking machinists claimed the support of the big Teamsters and Transport Work ers I'mon. Failure of many early-arriving workers to cross the picket lines today indicated the test cen ter is in for its biggest work stoppage in its history. SAN D1LGO, Calif (UPD—Convair workers at four U. S. Atlas missile bases—including the major Air Force facihties at Cape Canaveral and Vandenbeig—are called out on strike today in a wage dispute Widespread labor unrest vv as- general thi\>ughout the spare-age industry across the country.
