Broome Events Tied In With State History Program' ENTJiCOTT — Broom e County historical events will be tied in with the New York State Year of Hlttor y observances planned for 1959. according to Dr Glenn G Bartle. area chairman of the temporary State Commission on Historical Observances. Dr Bartle, President of Harpur , , , College. Mrs. Edgar W Couper ol 186 Riverside Drive. Binghamton, and Dr George Vogt. 18 Stratford Place. Binghamton. are area com mittee members of the Stale oi New York temporary State Com mission on Historical Observances Chairman of the State Commis sion is Ernest I. Hatfield.
