Thursday, it was announced today. International Business Machines Corp. officials said today that the IBM band will join the parade in Binghamton tonight. Mearle Dilcs, former national champion drum major at Unlon-Endicott High- school, and now an IBM employe, will lead the band, as Clitrord Jenner, regular major, has a foot injury. Capt. L. L. Parke, commanding officer of Company E today thanked Endicott-Union Post 82, American Legion for the cigar ettes presented the company. Peace Officers Speak at IBM Equator Club • Equator club of International Business Machines Corp. heard stories about the humorous side of police work from Endicott, Johnson City, Broome County and state police at a meeting in IBM Country club last night. Speakers -were Police Chief Le- roy K WIke, Johnson City Chief Joseph Huff, Sheriff Earl Daniels and' Sgt. • Joseph A. Murphy of state-police. John Dcmerest, IBM plant engineer, also spoke.
