The advantages which this stove possesses over all others that havebeen invented will be readily appreciated upon an examination ol the philosophical principles upon which it is con structed, and its perfect adaptation to the purposes designed. It is simple in its arrangement, net!land chas-e in itsappeatance, economical in the consump tion ot fuel, and both durable and convenient in its use. It has a large oven, and fotjr boiler holes—the entire heat, at a ll times passes directly in rotation under thefirst three boilers, and then,-by an entire new arrangement of the flues, is carried around each end ofthe oven, and under thefourth boijerin-' tothe exit pipe, as will, be keen on examination. CERTIFICA T E . Annexed are a lew who have these stoves in use, which will serve in some measure to show the estimation in which they are held: We, the- undersigned, havein use Atwood’s Hot Air Cooking Stove, and are willing tobear testimo ny to its many excellent qualities. It performs all the various operations of a cooking stove with great convenience, and less fuel, than any other stove we have ever seen or used, .and, we would recommend ourfriends andthe public, wishinga first rate cook ing apparatus, to examine the Empire StoVe previ ous to purchasing. P . Robins , W m Cook , E JB Green, Sam i W eed , J Feller. Jas Halstead. Binghamton, Sept. 20, 1845. The New- York Evening Post contains the follow ing notice o f this Stove , which was exhibited at the late Fair o f the American Institute , at Niblo’s Gar den, No. 401; A twood ’ s H ot Am E mpire C ooking S tove . —We ha*re given ihis stove a thorough examination, and we think that it is better adapted to culinary pu~po- ses than any other stove we nave examined, and for bakiDg or roasting it must be invaluable. The stove is’so constructed, that cold a ir is admitted through a hole at the bottom, and then passes through a chamber by the side of the fire, where il becomes perfectly heated, and is then introduced into the oven. At the top of the oven, there is a hoi e ih i ough which the steam that arises, lrom the article baked is carried off. Our attention was directed to this stove by a member of the American Institute, who has lately purchased one for his own use, aud he says it is superior to any stove that he has ever us ed. T-his stove may be used either in summer or winter, and with either wood or coal, and will an swer every pui pose or an oven, with about one-third of the expense. , - - I j T Constantly on hand, and for’ sale by S.
