S ands : N e w -Y ork , Dec. 1, 1843. G e n tlem e n — P a rental feelings induce us to m a k e the following statem ent ot\ facts in relation to the im p o itant cure of o u r little d aughter, wholly effected by the use ofSands’ Sarsaparilla. F o r nearly t h r e e y e a r s s h e was afflicted with a most inveterate eruption on the body, which at tim e s was so b a d ,c o n n e c te d with interna] disease, that we despaired of h e r life. T h e complaint commenced in the roots ofthe hair, and gradually s p read until the whole head was e n v e l oped, and then it a ttacked the ears, and ran down the neck, and continuing to increase until it covered the most of the body. Itcointnenced with a small pimple or pustule, Irotn whieh w ater a t first d is c h a rged; this produced great itch ing and b u n ting; then m a tter or pus formed, the skin cracked nnd bled, and the pus discharged freely. T h e snfferings oLthe child w e re so great as almost wholly to prevent natural res:, and the odor from the discharges so of fensive as to m a k e it difficult to pay that particular a tten tion the nature o f th e case required. T h e disease was c al led Scald Head and general Salt Rheum . W e tried vari ous rem e d ies, with little benefit, and considered h e r case almost beyond the reach of medicine ; but from the known virtue o fyour Sarsaparilla,we were induced to give i t a trial. Before the first bottle was all used, we perceived an im provem ent in the appearance of the eruption; but the change was so rapid for the better, that we could scarcely give c redence to the evidence of o u r own eyes. W e con tinued its use for a few w eeks, and the result is a perfect cure. To all Parents we would s a y :—If you have children suffering with a n y disease of the skin, use Sands’ S arsapa rilla.
