G e n tlem e n —Parental feelings induce us to m ake, the following s ta tem e n t o f facts in relation to the impot tant cure o f Qur little d aughter, wholly effected by the use o fSands’ Sarsaparilla. F o r nearly th r e e years she was afflicted wijh a most inveterate eruption on the body, which a t times was SO b ad, c o n n e cted with internal disease, that we despaired of h e r life. T h e com plaint com menced in the roots ofthe hair, and gradually spread until the whole head was e n v e l oped, and then i t a ttacked the ears, and ran down the neck, and continuing- to increase until it covered the most o f ihe body. Itcornm e n ccd with a sm all pimple or pustule, from w hich w a te r a t first d ischarged; this produced great itch ing and burning; Ihen m a tter or pus formed, the skin cracked and bled, and the pus discharged freely. T h e sufferings of the child were so great as almost wholly to prevent n atural rest, a n d th e odor from the d ischarges so of fensive as to m a k e itdifflcult to pay that particular a tten tion the nature of the case required. T h e disease was c a l led Scald H ead and general S a ltR h e u m . W e tried vari ous rem e d ies, with little benefit, and considered h e r case- almost beyond the reach of m e d icine; but from the known virrue o fyour Sarsaparilla, we we e induced to give ita trial. Before the first bottle was all used, w e p erceived an im provem ent in th e appearance of the eruption; but the change was so rapid for 1 fie better, that we could scarcely give c redence to the evidence of our own eyes. W e con tinued its use ior a few w e e k s, and the result is a perfect cure.
