The soil must be ad apted to the seed, or there will be no increase. The climate must have those matters in it which will unite and keep alive epidemical or contagious poisons, or they will become extinguished, as a lamp that is unsupplied with oil. So it is likewise with the Human Fram^ it cannot be materially aflectcd by epidemic or contagious maladies, un less there”be those matters floatingin the circulation which offer the appropriate soil. By purifying our bodies with the B randreth P ills , which have af finity with those impurities upon which contagion feeds, we may always feel secure, whatever disease may rage around us. True, we may have it, but it will soon be over, cur sicinecs will he the affair eota da or two, Avhiletho.se who have been too wise to use this simple and excellent remedv, either die, or have weeks, and perhaps motnhs of siek- nesst? Sudden changes lrom very hot to ahilly weather ry unfavorable to be 1 th; and i . i s a fact univer sally admi.ted, that heat and moisture are powerful agents in producing disease, and that constant drv and costaut atet weather are both lavorabJeto its generation ; itdoe.' not signify what we call it: it may be agne; it may be billious fever; it may be yellow 1 - v er ; i t m a y be d y sentery ; it may be rheu matism ; it may be bronchitis; it may be cholic; it may be constipation ofthe bcAvels; it may be in flammation of the bowels; it may be inflammation of the stomach ; it may be a nervous affection; but still it is disease, and a disease curable by the Bran- derth Pills, because they remove all impurities from the body, all that can in any manner feed the fur ther progress of the malady; no matter how called: thus these p'lls are 7iot onlv the most proper medi cine, b - t generally the only m edicine that need or cJightto bv At the present time |t is eyeiy man’s duty who wishes to secure his health to use tliern j it is Uic duty o f every one v lio Knows any- thingroi* their health restoring powers, to make it known in his immediate circle, For there are s?me alarming si^ns, which tell oF the approach ot disease. The sudden changes of temperament are mere to be feared and guarded against thanayn contagious malady. T e iNFLUENZA has left many in such a state of weakness that there is in them a great susceptibili ty to affected by these changes of the atmosphere and contagious maladies; but by he timely use of Branderth’s Pills, evon now this susceptibility can be in a great measure removed, and power given the system to resist those morbific poisons, and the sudden changes of the weather with which it may be brought in contact during the next fifty days.— Nature has formed the bowels for the evacuation of alZ unheal thy humors, and if man would, but use common sense, he would 'ake care they perlormed this office faithfully. If the bowels are out of o rder; if too slow or too fast, a few doses of Branderth’s Pills Avill bring them to order. Ask the man who was dying from constipated bowels what cured him; he tells you, Branderth’s PilZs. Ask him who had had dysentery for six months, and every remedy had failed; he will also tell you the Branderih Pills cured him in a week. So with other d seases.— Twelve Brandreth Pills rubbed down in half a pint of molasses, cured a little boy of an ulcer ot the lace, which was rapidly spreading to hiseyes, awd which a dozen doctors had tried to cure, but could not; the poor pareuts would have given half they were Avorth to have had it cured, b it every thing they tried did no good, until they gave it a teaspoon ful of molasses every day, in £ a pint of which they had rubbed ,.owd twelve Bra?tdreth Pills ; before the whole of the molasses wa.-s talen the ulcer was cured. And yet some foolish people call Bran- dreth’s Pills a quack medicine. It would be well il there were a lew more suer, quack medicines.— W ill all your pretended Sarsaparila Componndsi cure like the Branderth Pills'? Can they send you. to persons cured as Dr. Branderth can 1 ‘ Can they point out to you people who had been helpless for 1 years lrom Epilipsy and St. Vitus’ Dance Avhohave 1 been-curedby their remedies'? ILhey cannot, Dr. Brandreth can. Can they point out to you a p rson who f r twenty years hadneverhad a stool without having used medicine, or mechanical mean?, and whom the Brandreth Pills cured, in a month, and gave him as h»al'hy evacuations as lie had Avhenhe was a child. I f th»ycannot, Dr. Brandreth can. The BRANDRETH PILLS not only do cui e, all curable diseases, but it can be demonstrated, that by their timely use, they must infallibly cure. In a very short time, Dr. Brandreth will bring before 1 the public a concentration of the virtues of the 1 Branderth Pills, both in the iorir of Pills, and in a fluid form, and then he will explain the recson of the 1 euresthat must necessarily be theresultof using the! BRANDRETHIAN REMEDIES, whether they be internal or external I have just received the case of a medical gentleman, who resides a! Sherbrook,, Canada, who for twenty years was sorely afflicted with a disease, which came out in blotches a«d scabs a 1 over his body. This gentleman so far forgot his! prejudices which too often curse his profession, as to apply personally to Dr..Brandreth, and hiscourse proved a happy one, wnhin six months he was en tirely cured of his miserable and tormenting disease ty the use of he Branderih Pills. The use ofthe Brandreth Pills can in no case do injury, because they are made of those herbs and roots which experience has fully proved always harmonize with the human body. The omission of purging Avith them in eases of sickness, is oflefi the cause of a long attack often ending only by a cessa tion flife. How important it is that this course shouln be pursued—it will not o?/,ly be the surest means of restoring, but it will in a greaL measure prevent the recurrence of constitutional maladies-^-il will sur - ly weaken the malignity of the attacks and in time secure rob st health. As Avith all valuable medicines the Brandreth Pills have been shamefully counterfeited, but I have succeeded in having executed THREE LABLES (and which are appended to each box) of such in trinsic workmanship as to bid defiance to all future imitators. No *v however a new evil presents itseltL My advertisements are taken verbatim, and usedM all the medicine mongers of the day, who merely taAcmy name out and insert the name of their riied- icinein the place Brandreth Fills occupied in tne advertisement thus stolen from me. Time will prove how these speculative gentlemen sustain them selves. M y F riends may rest satisfied that 1 shall, so long as my life and energies are peimbted me, bvam OVERRULING PROVIDENCE, attend person ally to the Brandreth Pills, and that these properties which has thus far' rendered them so popular wil!Z be still continued unimpaired.
