David McCoy of Ziegler Drive, spokesman for Ziegler Drive residenlll, asked the Board· if a streetlight could be erected at the end of the street near the treatment plant in order to pre- vent people from using the area as a \Lovers Lane\. In order to save money, it was agreed that loe Orlando, Highway Superin- tendent, would leave the light on in the treatment plant at the close of each day. The speeding on the street, particularly by parents of the baseball players, was also discussed. Several suggestions were made: installing a speed bump, changing the current speed of 15 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour because it is more en- forceable. Mayor Pete Yendell will discuss the problem and the Board's suggestions with Sgt. Mike Manning of the State Po- lice. The Board also agreed to install a gate at the entrance of the Park. Two other items relat- ing to the Mark Tubbs Park were also discussed. It was decided that a member of the Park Com- mission will be responsible for making pavilion reservations. Trustee, John Wadach will con- tact the cbairman.. There is also concern about the vandalism that is occurring in the Park. Beverly Gillette Completes 2S Years in Post Office Although the mail may not get through every 50 years or so because of min, slcct, hail or snow, the postal workers always do.
