Their bright back-ground and shining letters contrast favorably with the drab, black weather- dulled plates of 1930 and are tangible evidence that the old year is giving way to the new. The predominating, distinguishing letter has changed from \Z\ to \W\ and the initial numeral seems to be \3\. An overtime force is at work at the Endicott Automobile head quarters in die Hotel Frederick and the working force has been augmented by the addition of three helpers. Emblems are be fog, mailed out to the various members of the club and the plates ordered by members are delivered to their \homes the day after the order has been taken, A statement by Miss Beatrice Laidlaw, club secretary, shows that the new insurance policy which' is being given with each membership is drawing a large number into the club. This, she says, is only one of the many new attractions to the club roster. Among others she cites the se curity bond which saves embar rassment after arrest for a minor traffic violation in a strange town. 1931 plates for cars which were licensed in 1930 may be put on at once, it was stated, but those is. sued for cars newly purchased which have never been licensed may not be attached until Jan, 1st. All cars - must have 1931 li censes on by January 1st The club office will remain open until 6:00 p. m. until next lion- operation until 8:00 p. m. for the duration of the year. — PHONE: ENDICOTT 1371 - Burial of Frederick Dean Held Tuesday Morning! .'spok e rh6t\;a' but' went straight, to his work, £$£Aa7HUM£tf;<^&stbcld^ with a Jerk, f^j?And^yii^;.h^J,n^er,i'aside of his inose, «4-A^;giring;a;nodi;:upithe' chimney he' rose. ;teyH«^iprang;to1Jais;«l^ a whistle/ \ ;i,; s And*TW*yTffioy^ _ f^^ntllX'heardthim'^e ^Bim ^aiK -lie' drove, ont of sight: ^^^qbrjb^w-f^^vs^[ ; j» jOI *:gpctf-'ntght!\ dtfam •^streeV,,.. ar Sfot I remaining',lor kweekr Mi'ss^Ma^bn^Royal of ^Rochester, wetp week-end- . visitors _ at ,the home^o^'MrX'' aid •fe'Mrif: JMaxtin' iwaid, .streeWrt-» %\..» Frederick Dean of 1000 North street, Endicott, died Saturday night at'the home of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Dean.
