Sometimes it is said -that soccer is not a hard hitting sport, but in a recent game with JO opposing Skaneateles, there wasplenty of contact and collision. In the end however Skaneateles upset the previously undefeated JD, 1 -0. in a game that was dominated by the play of both defenses and goalkeepers. Fishing Through The Fall Doug Carr IS Just because of cooler temperatures does not mean that the local fisherman must put away his fishing pole and lures until next year A course entitled \Fishing Oneida Lake\ will be taught Wednesday nights for eight weeks by Doug Carr, one of < )neida lake's fishing en thusiasts. The course will be designed to increase the fisherman's knowledge of fishing lures prime locations, and fishing logic, will feature many guests speakers including Jim Sweet, WSYR television fishing reporter and editor of the Fisherman's Guide Other speakers will be Bran don Hutchenson, a research biologist from Cornell; Tony Buffa, locaJ guide who will show his favorite lures and techniques. Chuck Nojaim. owner of Smith's Bait and Tac kle discussing fishing with live bait, Chittenango's Ken Cope who will 8peak on taxidermy.
