H OW LAND 'S This is an Autumn store ri g ht now. The store has its seasons j ust the same as the farm. But best of them all is this Autumn sea- son . Who does not love the g low of the golden p u mp ki ns , the purp le bloom of the grape , the g lowing rosiness of the app le—harvest time is the season of seasons in all out of doors. And so the harvest season is the season of sea- sons here in the store. Seems as thoug h we bor- rowed something from Nature. Here are Na- ture ' s rich colors. Here are fabrics that g low and g leam as do the leaves of the sumach and the map le. Here are textiles of velvety texture that make you think of the bloom of the rich fruit as it is being gathered. And , too , here are wearables that sound the j oy ful clear note of fall as p lainl y and as exult- antl y as do the birds as they gather . their harvest in the fields. It is Autumn in the store just as clearl y and as p lai nl y as in the harvest field. Life and li ght are ruling. Colors are bri g ht and clear. As out of doors puts on its new robe of brillance , so the store is read y with rich bri g ht robings for folks to put on. No , we do not stop with things to wear. E verything for the house is read y, too. Rich rugs and carpets , handsome hang ing s , n ew fit- tings for every room—last , bu t b y no means least , for the kitchen.
