Frank Dehe, Mrs. Sims. Mrs. Frazer , M rs. Daniel Seibert. Jr. J ohn Kash has rented his house on Locust ave. to a Mr. Watson, of El m- hurst. Dr. George William Bonnet has opened a funeral parlor at his resi- dence on Ronkonkoma ave. Mrs. Baxter has been III for the post few weeks but Is much Improved now. The Thursday Night Bridge met at the home of Mrs. John Grodeskl in Patchogue. Among those present were Mrs. Fred Smith, Mrs. Fred Shelles Mary Grodeskl , Mrs. Daniel Seibert J r., Mrs. Walter McNulty, M rs. George Comlns, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Novak , Mrs. Rlnghaus, Mrs. Evelyn Howey. This was also the occasion * of M rs. G rode s ki' s birthday and she was pre- sented with a beautiful gift from the members of the club. A supper was served at midnight. Dorothy Barnlckle and Tillie Gehrig made a weekend trip to Lake Hapat- cong, N. J. On Friday afternoon a card party was given at the Hcnkel homestead. Master George Sheshunof f of Floral Pa rk Is visiting Master Charles Glbbs for the next week. William Guittcau has purchased n new Chrysler coupe. Mr. Anderson of Centereach won the electric refrigerator at the Firemen- Legion fair. A card party was held Wednesday afternoon at the Pinehurst Hotel in Holbro o k. Those present were Mrs Lola Jane Jones , M rs. Charles Glbbs Mrs. Marjorle R. Turck, Mrs. Fred Kenneth , M rs. Fred Smith, Mrs. Waller Novak and Mrs. E. Winklcstern, the hostess. Mfss Eva Bowers left Saturday for a six weeks ' visit in Trenton, N. J. Mr. Molffctta has rented Peters ' store ot Pond rd. and Cedar ave. Mrs. Andrew Peterson and son of Brooklyn visited Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Turck Friday evening. Th e annual fair held by the Ladles Guild of St. Mary ' s Church. Saturday evening nt the Fire Hall , proved to be most successful. The committee wish to thank all who rendered assistance. Mrs. Grace Hecht has a new Nash roadster. The new fireplace at Ronko Beach was muctf In demand Sunday. This large fireplace Is the only one of its kind on the Island. M rs. Fred Williams of Lake Ronkon- koma while crossing the street at Wast Meadow Beach , Sunday, was hit by an automobile but not seriously hurt. William Dormer won the prize for the week at Ronko Beach for High Ski < Ball Rolling. His score was 350. The Lake Ronkonkoma Firemen and American Legion Fair was a success The result was far exceeding that of last yea r ' s affair. The Joint committee takes this opportunity to thank the public for their hearty cooperation in putting it over. They also wish to thank the boys and girls Fife arid Drum Co rps of the Farralngdale Post of Vet- erans of Foreign Wars who paraded from the Lake to the Fair Grounds and later entertained the crowd with music.
