Mr. Krchniak is married and will move to Phelps in August. He succeeds Charles J. Schott, who has accepted a position as social studies teacher at Whitesboro Central schooL For the position of cafeteria manager and junior high home- malting teacher, the Board has hired Miss Carmen Johnson, who is at present. head dietitian at Sage College, Cornell University. Peters ge rtsville, son of fonnerFbelps family, was killed instantly^April 11 in an auto which he was driving near Clarence*, which is a few miles from Buffalo. It is re ported that Mr. Peters lost con trol of his car and after hitt ing a mail box, the vehicle turn ed over into a ditch. r Mr. Peters was .the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peters Sr., .who are former residents of Phelps and Clifton Springs ahcl now re side in Eggertsville, near Buffa lo .
