These activities, thru the cooperation of the Complainant. Defendant and the Police have avoided court action. There were also 20 trans lodgers accomodated in the lock-up during the year. Charles R. Tax Collector SUMMARY O F ANNUAL REPORT O F THE CHIEF ENGINEER O F T H E CLIFTON SPRINGS F IR E DEPARTMENT To the H o norable Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Clifton Springs, State of New Yoric; As Chief Engineer of the C lifton Springs Fire Department. I hereby subm it the following report for the year ending February 29 1948: The F ire Department made 28 runs during the past vear .is fol lows. 15 in the Village and 10 in the C lifton SpriAgs Fire Protection District, 3 for assistance to neighboring towns. 668 Firemen respond ed to the fire calls for an average of 24 men per fire. There was ap proximately 1200 feet iif inch hose, 2300 feet of 1M> inch hose and 3700 feet of Booster hose used at these fires. Also 24 Indian pumps, 4 pyrene guns and 2-Co-2 extinguishers were used.
