Zarnphonl- thes, has received word that his moth er, Mrs. Frances Wetmore Zaraphon- ithes, passed to her reward at her home in Winchester, Cal., on Friday morning, Nov. 14th. She was bom in October 1863, at Lawn Ridge, 111., and received her education at Peoria, III. In 1879 she wos married to Rev A. D. Zaraphonithes, M. D., and they went as medical missionaries to Greece, where they spent nearly 20 years. Returning to America, they engaged in mission work in New York City for about four years. On ac count of poor health It became neces sary for them to move to Colifomia, where, after about six years, Rev A. D. Zaraphonithes died Altho Mrs. Zaraphonithes had had poor health for the pagtrfcw years; she IffflTUeWTnirtl? active nnd her death came ns a sudden shock to her loved onos. She is sur vived by two daughters.
