Shiniest Coat - 2nd Place Jennifer Nolle's guppies - George and Gary; 3rd Place Rick Fisher's dog Smokey Best Trained - 1st Carrie Gongiovanni's dog named Honey, 2nd Bill Brauen's dog Kaiser, 3rd Bobby Hildebrand's dog Cleo Best Groomed - 1st Ta'mmi Keller's dbg - Taffy, 2nd Angela Fisher's worm - Wormy Best Behaved - 1st Karen Uhteg's pail of frogs, 2nd Raymond Hildebrand's dog - Midnight, and 3rd Mike Uhteg's dog - Popcorn. Cutest - 1st Christie Ellis' rabbit - Powderpuff and 2nd Marie Uhteg's dog named Jorden The Recreation Depart ment will also be venturing to Fantasy Island on Monday August 10th. A diamond ring worth about $1200.00 was stolen from Schneider's Jewelry and according to police, sold to Thaddeus Drost, owner of Drost Jewelry in Machias later the same day The conviction, a felony, was obtained by Cattaraugus County District Attorney Michael Nevins Mrs Wolfer will be sentenced on October 5, 1981 by Cat taraugus County Court Judge Crowley 1 The Mary Jemison Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held its July meeting at the Perry home of Mrs. Robert Patrick on the 24th.
