Our laws should be interpreted to protect these honest people and their interests and beliefs. 4 I believe that our police and national guardsmen are doing their best to quell these riots WITHOUT BLOODSHED When bloodshed does occur more police have been injured than students The police deserve our full backing. 5 1 believe that the weak-kneed actions of many university officials in catering to the demands of small groups of troublemakers and the condoning of riotous action by these groups has led to their spread. A firm hand by these officials would have done a great deal t o prevent such acts. 6 I believe the vast majority of students, who are attending these colleges and universities to further their education and who axe opposed to these radical (Continued on page three) New Development In Arcade Mayor Thomas and the Village Board have announced a very substantial new development to take place in Arcade Residex Homes of 3976 Seneca St , West Seneca is planning to build homes in the Deacon Hill section of the village off of Haskell Drive They hope to complete 20 homes this year and will eventually build 200 or more Initially three models are contemplated - a 2 story, three bedroom, \'A bath - a raised ranch, 3 bedroom 1 bath - a Cape Cod expandable 2-4 bedroom, 1 or 2 bath The announcement is the culmination of over a year's negotiations between Residex and the Village Ground Breaking Ceremony On May 24 For New Holland Scheduled Church The congregation of the Holland Methodist Church will hold the ground breaking ceremony for its new church building at 1 p.m on Sunday, May 24 Jack Heppner will be in charge of the ceremony and participating in the program will be Dr Gilbert Wieting, District Supenntendant of the Olean District, Dr Bailey pastor of the church, the Rev Dyrek of St Joseph's Catholic Church, and the Rev Lepine of the Holland Baptist Church.
