There arc small children in the area and an accident is possible. \Parking during football games,\ says Mr Crawford,\ is available at the rear of the school and the Village parking lot \ The Arcade Police Department has been alerted to watch for any driveway misuse Blue Hill 4-H'ers Winners At Fair Several members of the Blue Hill 4-H Club won honors at the Cattaraugus County Fair recently They were ' Dairy judging, Dennis Ruehma first, Roy Ruehman, third and fourth, David Ruehman, also fourth place, Robert Schmidt, fifth Roy Ruehman won second place in tractor operation and competed in the New York State Fair at Syracuse August 28 Dennis Ruehman and Robert Schmidt won excellent ratings on their vegetable exhibits. September*/ Barn Goes Up In Flames The Arcade plant of th e automotive products division of Motorola Inc. will be expanded by 65,000 square feet The announcement was made by Kenyon P Gretzler, general manager of the Arcade plant, during ground breaking ceremonies. Mr Gretzler said the expansion will be completed during April, 1970, and bring the total plant size to 270,000 square feet. The new space will be used for additional manufacturing and- warehouse areas as welL as providing space for the parts and service department. Mr. Gretzler stated, \This expansion is a tribute to the high quality performance of our Arcade Motorolans. During the next year, we expect to hire a substantial number of new employees to staff our new facilities \ The Arcade plant fabricates and manufactures a wide line of electronic alternators, tachometers, hourmetcrs, car radio tuners and Fire last Thursday destroyed the Sam LaScala barn on Genesee Rd., Sardinia. Cause of the fire was not immediately determined Mr LaScala and his helpers were blowing straw into the barn about 2 p.m. when they noticed smoke and fire billowing from the structure.
