Devised by Lines and made by a carpenter, in nearby Watertown, this directory shelf in the trunk compart ment of his automobile supplements regular directory facilities at tele phones in the Post Exchanges and tit the Camp's attended telephone center in the Service Club. ' Pine Camp’s soldiers are apt to en counter Lines almost any time as he makes his rounds of telephone loca tions, furnishing change, answering questions about the service, and gen erally making himself helpful to this large community.
