Glam Jones mi; ' ~ athletic Ron Wheeler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood A. Wheeler, 70 vista Dr., has been named to the National Jurtior College Association All- American team. He was a winger with the Monroe Com- munity College team. He was named along with teammate Andre Sluk, and It represented the first time that two members of the Monroe team had been named in the same year. Wheeler, a graduate of Olympia High School scored seven goals and assisted on eight cthers during the season in leading Monroe Community College to the finals of the National Junior Collegs Ath, letic Association champlon- ship. Submitted to the Board for review and action was the fol- lowing recommendation pre- pared by Superintendent of Schools Lawrerce M. Watts: \Only authorized persons may operate or supervise the operation of the audio and lighting sy stems connected with the stages of the high schools In Greece Central District No. 1. \Outside groups obtaining permission to use these school auditoriums and destring the special stage facilities avail- able must hire at their ex- pense an approved district staff member suthorized to operate or supervise these facilities.\ Discussing the recommen- dation, the question was raised as to the feasibility of includ- ing qualified studects as well as staff mambers.
