Miss Madeline O'Keefe, supervising public health is quietly pleased over the move which has been rapidly sccomplished over the past month. \I have walted gine years ~ for adequate room, snd I'm very happy with our new quarters,\ she said. 'The difference between the old and new is this: in their old quarters on the third floor of Greece Town Hall, 14 nurses were crowded into a room and a hall with niks desks, a bookcase, several filing cabinets, and a stove, {Continued on Page 3) Thomas Wilcox Wins a Thowss R. Wileos Thomas R. Wilcox, son of Mr. ard - Mrs. Richard H. Wilcox, 231 Latona Rd., has gecelved oa three-year scholarship | In National Aeronauties | and - Space Ad- ministration. He will enter Cornel University this Fall on a graduate program which will lead to a Ph.D. Gegree in Computer Science. Honerary | Space Scholarship A June graduate of the University of Michigan, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinetion. He also won High Honogs in mallcs and was alecled Rkolact Fratersity. He was on» of Greece Olympia High School's top students. He waseactiveinthe National Hoeror Society, the Science asd Math Honor clubs, and the school rows- paper. Wilcox gained recognition In the school's instrumental and \music program, culminating in his selection as a tuba player in the all-state band in his sermior year. He continues with his tuba playing as a participant in the Northeast Concert Bard, an organization of yourg people from the Greece area who give summer concerts at various functions. Wilcox is employed this Summer by the Eastman Kodak Company, where he is working on computers. Basil Marella, Greece Recreation Director, devised the plan, which was endorsed ty the Board last March. Morrison and Morrison will review the preliminary plan, make necessary changes and revisions and then tell the tosn how much the project would cost. No estimate of the cost of the park bas been given. County Parks Mrector Alvan - R.
