Guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Peirson in their most cordial manner After a pleasant reception they repaired to the dining room where a bountiful dinner was served by Mrs. Gerdes At the close of the,dinner Mrs.;Gerdes brought in an old fashioned glass goblet one which belonged to a set with which Mi and Mrs. Peirspn began keeping house and handed it to Mrs. Peirson The goblet, was filled with Wine made from the cherrie^ grown on a tree planted on their place forty-four years ago As the bride of olden days di auk she gave an appropriate toast to the guests present. Then in turn the crimson goblet was passed to each of the guests who drank toasts of love and continued happiness to the bnle and groom. After the dinner, Mrs 1 eir son brought down her quaint wedding bonnet which had been so carefully preserved during all these years and in which the guests manifested much in terest, shown by the fact that each one tried it on.
