Tbe Friendly Set Bible class held a picnic at Silver Lake Tuesday. The day was an ideal one and all en joyed the auto ride. Mrs. Celia Wilder died Thursday at tbe home of her son, Wm. Wilder, aged 95 years. The funeral was held from tbe bouse Saturday afternoon at two o'clock and interment was made in the Penny Cook Cemetery PIKE Harry OroBS has gone qua for tbe summer. Miss Julia Utter cut her hand quite badly while at work in the Castile knitting mill Friday. Two of the children of Morel VanSlyke and wife at Griffith's Cor ners were struck by lightning Friday during the electric storm. The girl was seriously hurt bnt it i s hoped she will recover. The boy was not so badly hurt, and the horse they were driving was killed.
