Born in Chazy, Aug. 20, 1940, she was the daughter of Joseph and Audrey Wilford. She attended Our Lady of Vic- tory Catholic School in Platt- sburgh, graduating in 1958. She worked for several years in the City Chamberlain's office for many years before moving to California. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed arts and - e-r-afts *. Survivors include her hus- band, Nicholas Mihalochick; three sons, Nicholas J., Scott and Chris Mihalochick, all of Perris, Calif.; a daughter, Jody Mihalochick of Eiverside, Calif.; seven grandchildren; her mother of Pittsburgh; and .a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and John Williams of Rome. A sister, Con- nie Lowell, died before her. •» A funeral was held Monday at March Air Force Base Chapel. Burial was in Riverside National Cemetery. Jennie Lynn Lemieux CENTRAL SQUARE - Jen- nie Lynn Lemieux, 35, of Nor- thridge Drive, Central Square, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at her home. She was born in Hemstead, the daughter of Elwood Lemieux ofPlattsburgh. Miss Lemieux lived in Platt- sburgh before moving to Central Square in 1991. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Top's Market in Fulton for the past three years. She bowled in a ladies Monday Night League. She was born in Americus, t5a., Sept. \1-3 1907, the-daughter of Ned and Bertha (Rauschenberg) Sawyer. She was married to Smith Beede Lawrence March 29, 1935. He died Feb. 18, 1969. Survivors include two daugh- ters and a son-in-law, John and Andrea Maberry of Deer Isle, Maine, and Donna Combs of Keene Valley; a son and daugh- ter-in-law, Brett and Mary Lawrence of Keene Valley; two sisters, Bertha Weller of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Ned Rickard of Arizona; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Dorothy Eagles and Mary Ella Gaunt, died earlier. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Keene Valley Congregational Church. Joseph George filion MOOERS - Joseph George Filion, 62, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Born in Champlain, July 1, 1933, he was the son of Albert and Mary Mae (Phaneuf) Filion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service. Mr. Filion was a member of American Legion Ralph J. Davidson Post No. 538 of Mooers, and the Vet- erans of Foreign Wars, Great Chazy River Memorial Post No. 1418 in Champlain. He was. a member of the Dis- abled American Veterans and the Knights of \CoIuni15us'~U6unctl\ 3525 in Champlain. He was postmaster of the Mooers Post Office and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years, retiring in April 1995. He worked as a volunteer with the Rouses Point Youth Hockey Program. Survivors include his wife, the former Dora Roberts of Mooers; a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Bonnie Gonyo of Champlain; a daughter and son-in-law, Roger and Sally Sample of Mooers Forks; his mother, Mary Mae Filion of Champlain; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Howard and Patricia Pepin of Mooers and David and Doris Valenze of Champlain; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey and June of Plattsburgh, Douglas and Bonnie of Rouses Point, and Gary and Carol of Albany; and six grandchildren. He\*was a graduate'of Ticonderoga High School and Hudson Valley Community Col- lege of Troy and was a communi- cant of St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church of Johnsonville. He was employed by the Grand Union Company off Clifton Park as the meat manager for the past 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann (Stewart) Chapleau; two sons, Derek D- Chapleau of Ticonderoga, and David E. Chapleau of Johnson- ville; a daughter, Laura N. Chapleau of Johnsonville; his mother; and a brother, Walter Chapleau of Louisville, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. Alice Marie Sedofsky PORTLAND, Ore. - Alice Marie Sedofsky, 92, formerly of Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at St. Vincent Hos- pital in Portland, Ore. She was born in Philadelphia, Penn., June 7, 1903, the daugh- ter of Michael and Mary Reilly. Mrs. Sedofsky made her home in Plattsburgh since 1922. She was a member of St. John's Church and a member of the American Legion Post 20 Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, Israel, died Oct. 17, 1970. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorathy and Edward Trumbull of Aloha; a brother, David Reilly of Philadel- phia; six. grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was sextant for the United Methodist Church in Keeseville for 43 years and a sextant for the Masonic Temple in Keeseville. He was a 60-year member of the AuSable River Lodge 149 of the Free and Accepted Masons. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dale F. and Peggy Lahue of Keeseville and Norman H. Lahue of Platt- sburgh; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlottenand\ Stacy Rossman of Coos Bay, Oregon and Brenda and Thomas McNierney of Keeseville; eight grandchildren;' four great-grand- children; and several nieces and nephews.
