It is with regret and reluctance that we are obliged to chronicle the death of Mary Gallagher, wife of James J: Rice who departed this life at Johnstown, N. Y May 8th. Her remains were brought to Ma- lone, Tuesday May 10th, for inter- ment. Mary was a lovable girl and had a large circle of friends iu Ma- lone who are grieved at this sudden aud alim st cruelly taking away in the bloom of her youth, but we must lea\4 all with him on high \who doeth all things welL\ Tho hus- band and relatives' have the sympa- thy of this entire community in their sad affliction. l\ M. Moses South worth 'who has lived in town, or on the North * line of tho town all his life, being, the oldest son of the late Francis and Nancy South worth, passed away May 11th, in gVoat peace of mind beleiving in the atonement made by Jesus Christ the Saviour of all that beleive in him.
