Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a medium build. if you have any information on this incident, piease contact the Erie County Sheriff's Office at 858-2903. °Grand ‘Island Boulevard, welfare check — Deputies re _sponded to a report of a 911 hang.-u call at a restaurant. Dep- u c the businesses but were unable to locate anyone in need of police assistance. Tu cs was acting out ”wresf|ing moves.” No damage to the bus stop was observed. a motorist whose vehicle had be- come disabled. residence for approximately a half hour. Deputies located the vehicle and determined the mate subject was -0 New York state auditor and had an appointment at cl nearby house. ‘West Park Road, suspicious vehicle - A complainant stated a vehicle was parked at a nearby vacant house. No person was observed around the vehicle. The \house was checked and appeared to3be in order. ' °Queens Drive, suspicious in- ciclent —- A complainant stated that he heard someone open the rear door to his residence. Depu- ties checked the residence and the rear ard but ‘Found no persons. No damage was observed and nothing was reported stolen. -Love Road, robbery - A com- plainant stated she was accosted and robbed by a known male subject. Deputies’ investigation led to the arrest at a 20-year- old man from Grand Island who was found hiding in a nearby residence. The man was charged with robbery in the third degree (a class D felony), petit larceny (a class A misdemeanor), two counts of criminal mischief in the Fourth degree (a class A misdemeanor), harassment in the second degree (a violation) and obstruction of gpvernmental administration in t e second degree (a class A mis- demeanor). Durin the investiga- tion, a ‘uvenile offender was a so arrested after he was found to be in possession of the stolen prop- erty. The juvenile ottender was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fitth de- gree (a class A misdemeanor) and obstruction of governmenta ad- ministration in the second degree (a class A misdemeanor). Both subjects were transported to the Erie County Holding Center pend- ing their arraignment in the Town of Grand Island Court. Frida Dec. 19 -Whitehaven Road, motorist broke down — Deputies assisted owhitehaven Road, suspi- ciious incident — A complainant stated he observed a male subject shoulder the door open to a near-v by residence. A vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence then immediately pulled out and left the area. ‘Deputies checked -the resi- dence and determined the male subject lived inside the residence in question and had locked him- self out of his own home. °|.on9 Road, suspicious per- son with vehicle — Acomplain- ant stated a vehicle occupied by three females was sitting outside her residence the day before. One of the females .waved to the complainant's daughter when she opened the curtains to the window. The complainant only wanted to make patrol aware of the incident. -Ransom Road, trqffic com- plain!‘ — A complainant stated ve- icles cut throu h the gas station on the corner oi; Stony Point Road to avoid trattic around the time that the high school is dismissing students for the day. Ocreekside Drive, residential fire — Deputies assisted the Grand Island Fire Co. with a report at a dryer tire. No occupants were hurt arid the tire was extin uished by Grand Island Fire Co. t?reti hters. ‘Grand Island Boulevard, dis- orderly person — A complain- ant stated a male subject seemed intoxicated and was yelling at pa- trons. Deputies located the male subject and advised him. The sub- ject left without incident. °S‘outh Stale Parkway, reck- less operation - A complain- ant stated a vehicle was speedin down the road and ran through several stop signs. Deputies checked the area but were un- able to locate the vehicle by the description iven. °Grand lssland Boulevard, criminal mischief — A com- plainant stated that as he,was driving by the Niagara Frontier Transporation Authority bus stop near the intersection of Staley Road, he observed a male subject who appeared to be dama ing the bus stop. Deputies locatecf the male siibiect and determined he -Baseline Road, criminal mis- chief — A complainant-stated that, sometime in recent nights, some- one tampered with his pool, caus- ing. it to collapse. °Easl' River Road, hit-and-run accident -— A complainant stated that, during the previous night, an unknown \vehicle struck her mailbox. The vehicle then fled the scene in an unknown direction. -Alvin Road, welfare check — Deputies responded to a report of a 911 hang-u call at a business. Deputies chec and determined the call was a misdial. -I-190, reckless operation — A complainant stated a vehicle was swerving while driving on the South Grand Island Bridge and then exited onto South State Park- way. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the ve- hicle by the description given. -Baseline Road, suspicious person with vehicle] mari- |uana arrest — A complainant stated a suspicious vehicle 'ust parked behind a business that was closed during the late evening hours. Deputies’ investigation led to the arrest at a 28-year-old man from Grand Island for unlawful possession of marijuana (a viola- tion). The man was issued an ap- pearance ticket returnable to the Town of Grand Island Court. -Grand «Island Boulevard, \reckless operation — A com- plainant stated a pickup truck with a trailer attached cut oil sev- eral vehicles while traveling on the H90. The vehicle then exited at Grand Island Boulevard where the complainant lost‘ sight of it. Deputies ‘located the dog but were unable to make contact with any occupants of the residence. The dog control officer was notified. -Ward Park Road, suspicious incident — A complainant stat- ed three teenagers were going through a neighbor's car. The sub- iects triggere a motion light in the area, and then fled on foot. Depu- ties checked the area but were un- able to locate the subjects. Noth- ing was reported stolen. -Foxcroft Street, residential -— Deputies assisted the Grand Island Fire ‘Co. with a report of a dryer fire. No occupants were hurt and the fire was extinguished by GIFC firefighters. 55+ miles zrict. Tuesa Dec. 16 -Sandy Beach Road, suspi- cious incident — A com lain- ant stated that, sometime ( the night, someone entered her unlocked vehicle. Nothing was reported missing.
