The Mid-Island Democratic Club is sponsoring a buffet-dance to be held Saturday in Hoibrook Hall , Hoibrook , starting at 8:30 p. m. RONKONKOMA FIRE DRPT. On January ii the Ronkonkoma ambulance took George Palm- strom of 47 Gregory Drive to Mather Memorial Hospital. Dr. L. J. Mautone was in charge. Alex Proios and William Smith were the attendants. The following day the ambulance took Mrs. Anna C. Bader of Washburn Avenue, Lake Grove , to Southside Hospi- tal. Dr. David Mollinoff was the doctor and David Gimmler and Matthew Kennedy, the a ttend- ants. On January 11 Joseph Fas- so of 33 Swain Court was taken from the office of Dr. Theodore Fried to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Smi th were the attendants. On January 12 the ambulance return- ed Mrs. Bader to her home from Southside Hospital. A rthur Davis and Everett Bowers were the at- tendants and Dr. Mollinoff , the doctor. On January 14 William Staufenberg of 24 Shorehaven Boulevard was taken to Brook- haven Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fided was the doctor and Henry Jennewein and Mr. Kenned y, the attendants. On January 16 the Ronkonkoma firemen were called to Hawkins Avenue and the railroad tracks where railroad ties were on fire. It was a silent alarm. The firs was ' quickly extinguished. Everett Bowers was the officer in charge. LAKELAND FIRE DEPT. The Lakeland Fire Department and Medical Unit reports there were no fires or ambulance calls during the past week. ST.
