Garofalos in Miami For Nat 'l Convention Of U. S. Power Squad Commander Pat Garofalo , JN , of the Patehogue Bay Power Squadron , accompanied b y his wi fe Elaine , has left for M iami Beach , Fla., to take an active part in the annual national convention of the United States Power Squad- ron. The convention will be held to- morrow and Saturday at the Deau- ville Hotel. Many administrat've and legislative United States Pow- er Squadron policies are planned on a program that is of prime importance and consequence to the squadrons of the nation and to Squadron , accompanied by his wife , the many overseas squadrons situ- ated in places such as Panama , Hawaii and Japan. Commander Garofalo will be assisted m his convention duties by a number of members of the Patehogue Bay Power Squadron , who will aid materially in voting on the various issues presented and in analyzing the bills and proposals that directly affect the squadrons in this area during the coming year.
