Representing; 'the Keinsenburn Garden Club at the luncheon was Mrs. Albert \V. Butt Jr., vice- president. Many clubs throughout the state competed in this vontest for part of the $500 olfered to the winners in each district. Entries were submitted in Jan- uary, and althouirh Reiusenburj r is too small a place to compete with clubs in lariie cities under Civic Beautification , it was under the broader title of Village hn- proveinent the Kenisenbure; Club was successful. Five completed \rojeets with pictures were submitted fo.f the judges ' approval. John E. Terrell , regional director of the Sears , Roebuck Foundation , said that the foundation was delighted with the interest shown and they were ropared to give another tcrant for a 19H0 contest. Mrs . Butt announced the win- ning of the prize to the members of the club-at a tea at the Colony Club Riven bv the president. Miss Elizabeth Remsen March 9.
