Guyer , son of Mr. and Mrs. Stan- ley Gordon of 20 Terry Street , P:.tchoRue , recently arrived at Osan Air base , Korea , and i-s assigned to the G311th Air Police squadron. Prior to his Korea assignment Airman Oliver was stationed a. ' ; Homestead AI- B , Fla. Airman Guyer , a lone with thousands of other Fifth Air Force personnel under the Pacific Air Force , will help to maintain tho peace and be on constant alert against aggression. The fiSl-lth Air Police squadron , to which he is -issigned , is part of the 314th Air division. The 31 1th , with its headquartes at Osan Air base, known as \Free- dom ' s frontier , \ is charged with the responsibility of keeping the peace through air defense opera - tions throughout Korea. The 31 1th is also helping the Republic of Korean Air Force to develop self-sufficient training programs and to build up an effective air defense force. Airman Guyer , who has five years of military service , is a graduate of Patchogue hig h school.
