The couple left on a week' s honeymoon to Michi gan and upon their return will reside on Pleasant avenue , Centereach . The bride is a graduate of Port Jefferson Hi gh school , Port Jef- ferson. Miss Elaine Muccio of Lake Ronkonkoma was maid-of-honor for her sister. Her ballerina- length gown was of yellow chif- fon , accented at the waist by lace and yellow ribbon. Three roses were on the side and back of the gown. Her loh jr veil was held by a crown of pearls and sequins and she carried a cascade of American white roses. Miss Louisa Mingino of Bellport was maid-of-honor. She wore a cora l street-length gown of organ- za fashioned with a scoop neck- line and a butterfly bow at the back. She wore a matching tiara and carried a cascade bouquet of White carnations tipped with coral. Their aqua organza gowns were similar to that of the maid-of-honor and they wore matching tiaras . They car- ried cascade bouquets of white carnations tipped with aqua. The mother of the bride wore a blue organza street-length dress trimmed with sequins and pearls. Her accessories were blue and her corsage was of pink baby roses. The bridegroom ' s mother wove a champagne sheath dress , street- length , and brown accessories . Her corsage was of yellow roses. A reception was held at the Medford Brau Haus at 6 p. m. for 150 guests. Music was by Lee and Skylarks band. Mr. and Mrs . Backes left for a wedding trip to Canada , Niagara Falls and the Thousand Islands. They are now residing on Ams- terdam avenue , fc.ast Patchogue.
