E. church parlors, Monday October 3. The hostesses were: Mesdames Cavtwright, Baldwin Strong, Morgan, Ennis, Andrews and Norton. Six guests were seated at each of the five tables which were decorated with glass baskets filled with orange j nasturtions and marigolds. Ori each ' table two orange candles in tall glass I candlesticks furnished light for the 1 guests to find their jjlaces. The dain ty place cards and favors which were baskets of nuts and candy were also in -orange. This - color scheme was carried out in the delicious three- course dinner. The birthday cake, which was cut by the president, Mrs. A. C. Beards- lee, held twelve candles. After a short business session the following entertaining program was given. Roll Call—Vacation Thoughts. Reading—Miss Francis. Piano Duet—Mrs. Twiss, Miss Steams. President's greeting—Mrs. Beards- lee. Vocal solo—Mrs. Fuller. The Club adjourned to meet Octo- her 10, with Mrs. Gordon Lewis. ROBERTS-HUSTED The home of \Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eusted a.t Caldwells Corners was the scene of a lovely woddinfr, Wednes day, Octolier 5. when their only daughter Edna M., became the bride of Mr. Maurice William Roberta, of Bliss. The ceremonv was performed at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev R. H. Crane pastor of the Bliss Baptist church offiiciating. Following a wedding dinner the happy couple left for a weeks honey moon in New York City and various other places and upon their return thev will make their homo in Bliss.
