The delegates from Wyoming county to the state convention to be held in Troy i n Au gust were instructed to cast their votes for him. Mr. Ostertag i s a past commander of Harder-O'Donnell post of Attica, past county command er and past chairman-of therSth dis trict and now holds the office of vice- state commander. He has always worked indefatigably for the legion at all times \and under all circum stances.\ \ '• The following county officers were elected: commander, George McCaug- hcy - of Perry; vice-cornmander, Guy Luoas of Silver Springs; adjutant and treasurer, Mark Needham of,' Perry. Leave orders at Herald Office The -only fair to be held i n Wyom ing County this year,.thus far an- npunced,_wll.be_pUt_on.by_the Junior Project Clubs, at Warsaw. ^ The Warsaw fair and the Perry fair will not be held, so the Juniors have decided'to, hold the Junior.Fair, at which their exhibits can be shown in competition. There are 629 \youngsters enrolled in the junior clubs of the county. Eighty-five have one or more calves as their projects and nineteen ar e raising, sheep. In connection with the'livestock projects i t i s interesting that'-all of the animals have been bought b y the youngsters without assistance from the local banks. Be cause of the great interest in th e de velopment of purebred herds, it is planned to have an auction of ton purebred bulls in connection with the fair, this to be arranged bythe Farm Bureau. Livestock specialists from th e State College of Agriculture wjll be present-to judfje the animals an d t o pass upon the -judging by the club members. The county i s entitled to send two teams, one of two boys an d one of two girls, to the state fair, all expenses being paid by the- 'stSte. 1 - These teams will be selected by elim ination contests, the club members having a wide range o f project work in which they may demonstrate. In addition to the two teams a dairy judging team of three members\ ajid a poultry judging team o f \two mem bers will be picked for the state judg ing contests. Mr. McKenzie expects to obtain donations fo r many prizes to .b e awarded at the. Warsaw fair, thus insuring keen competition- between the individual'members, and club groups.
