These forecasts are planned to- assist farmers in their haying and harvesting operations. The forecasts are received, each day from a special weather forecaster.in Ithaca. A TROUT BEING PLANTED One hundred and seventy-five cans, of brook trout fingerlings are being planted in the streanis of the towns of Arcade, Freedom, Eagle, Java, Yorkshire, arid Sardinia this week.by members of the Arcade Rod and Gun Club. Thirty-five cans a day ar e being planted. . _ This should insure good fishing fo r some time. In this regard we are surprised that there are not more members of *the club in all of these towns. We feel sure that all true sportsmen want to help in this work. At noon a sump tuous dinner was served to which all did ample justice. i The day was spent i n playing games and with music, both vocal and instrumental.
